wasn't the reason for rod stewart leaving jeff beck was that rod was getting more of the spotlight than jeff beck liked? so it didn't work out....

That's one of my favorite guitar tones!

I've seen that entire show on VH1 (I think) and the whole show is great!

Was Ronnie playing a Princeton?

Great GREAT tone on an all-time classic.

The Faces, sonically, musically, lifestyle-ly affected/inspired a lot of bands in my opinion.

When I first read the thread title, the words that popped out were "morning" and "wood". Something is wrong with me.

I have this concert in my DVR and it looks like 2 different amps on his side of the stage. One is a Princeton..not sure about the other.
What IS he using anyway? Someone must know. Tones from heaven on this show, even from the the plexiglass beast.

After hearing the clips from Greg V, I'm interested in in that swart myself. Nice full sounding and small being the big plus. I 'm not sure what amp Ron was using on the strat clip but, damn sounds nice.

If you're interested in hearing another clip of the Swart 6v6se just click on the myspace link below and listen to "Sick". It's all 5 watts of Swart goodness. I love that little amp!

..........also, the lead guitar (about 2min into the song) in "Let Love Radiate" is the Swart. The slide gtr at the end is Fargen
