Ulbricks are absolutely beautiful amps. I played through a Verbovibe 30 a few weeks ago and it totally blew me away!

While I don't own an Ulbrick amp, I've played a few at my local, own the 12AXE and Megalodon pedals, and have said the odd "hoy" to Dave.

Every one of those experiences has either left me with jaw-to-floor or similar. Not only are all Dave's products world class but he's also a stand up guy. I can certainly see an Ulbrick amp in my future due not only to their undeniable sound but Dave's excellent reputation and great service.

Nice sounding clip. Very touch sensitive. That tone sounds more like it's coming from the player than the amp, but it's nice to have an amp that can translate that kind of feeling into sound.

Sounds fine. Slightly plinky Strat into a clean amp. How unusual?
The only way to evaluate an amp like this is to use it yourself.

'Not the usual suspects' was in reference to the player (I suspect not many outside Australia would have heard of him ... and not too many more in Australia ... at least not lately and under the name Irwin Thomas) and the amp maker ... if that's what you meant by 'How unusual'

Sure you have to plug in yourself ... but at least a clip gives you an idea what's possible.
