New guy from Perris, CA

Hello, I just found this group while searching for info about my Peavey amps. I started playing guitar back in the mid/late '70's. Prior to that I played accordian, piano and trumpet. Guitar is my favorite. I started with an accustic that some relative gave me. For electrics, I started with a K Mart special and then moved up to a Sears Gibson copy. Once I started working, I bought my first good guitar: a Peavey T-60 with a Peavey Classic 80? amp, loved that guitar. Then I added a Peavey Special 130, a Fender Squire Bass, a Fender Lead III and mixing board, amps and speakers to support a band which my brother (natural drummer), I and a friend put together in the '80's. We played Christian rock and we called ourselves Xenolyth. We wrote some stuff and did cover of other bands. We were ok. During my first marrage in the '90's, we were tight on money so every thing, except for the 12 string, went to the pawn shop. My wife did not care what it did to me, which is why she is my ex. 5 years ago I started collecting stuff again and now I have a Peavey Special 130 again, a Peavey Rage 158, a Fender Strat kit, the Conn 12 string still and a 2nd wife of 4 years which loves the fact that I play guitar. Ok, thats enough.
