Great clean on the cheap

Preferably < $400

Looking for something to plug my newly acquired Yamaha SA-2000 into that will produce a nice detailed clean. And that's it! Only thought so far has been a Cube 60. What else is a low budget clean sleeper?

don't use one but have heard some clips of a fender blues jr that had some good sounding cleans.

Fender Hot Rod Deluxe or Deville, or a Peavey Classic 30. All three provide really nice clean tones on the cheap.

For under $400 it's hard to beat a Peavey Classic 30.

I agree with rwe333; there are always deals on old MusicMan amps, great for the money.

What does the Kustom The Defender cost in your part of the world? Great, very BF-Fender-ish clean sound!

It would be pushing your price point, but a Silver Face Fender Bassman 50 has about the best "clean for the money" that you will ever find.
Good Luck
