Ian Moore.....Why...
Can someone help me understand this, Please. I have been extremely patient about Ian and his direction of music but I am feeling now that he has totally spaced out.
Really listen to these Then (no video just live music) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XmjGU...eature=related Recent http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uktzZ...eature=related Okay I am not saying that He Sucks or HAS to do the same thing for the rest of his career. But Come on man he FLANKED left pretty hard. and i am just not digging it . FOR ME his first 2 albums really filled a void in soulful music at the time ,and kicked serious A$$ cover to cover. I am very grateful for the stuff he did put out early on. opinions????? |

I love Ian Moore's stuff. I too wish he stayed more in his earlier direction, but IMO this is a poor example of something not to like. This is a fantatic song. I will say he strays quite a bit from his recorded version.

Perhaps that's the direction he wants to go these days.
Go to one of his shows and tell him what you think. |

Have no desire to go to one now really. he doesn't have to change back for me, and can absolutey go any direction he wants . but look at his crowds these days compared to back then .. it's not just me .. I was just stirrin up some coversation...

This is a discussion board, the guy can talk about the direction someone he liked went with his music. I'm not sure why that's so amazing?

Dang , Instead of sitting and just "Staring" at TGP, thought I would post about something I was wanting to BS about, after listening to Ian's latest Album.
Sorry is it My Tattoos? |

When in doubt evoke the emoticons.
Anyways I'm sure Ian Moore is happy that we have digressed from his artistic choices... |

I doubt Moore really cares if someone he doesn't know likes or doesn't like what he's doing right now. The interviews I've read/heard have him pretty much happy with the direction he's taken his music. What doubt were you thinking there was? I was laughing at the irony of your post.

When someone doesn't see the flaw in their argument, they're unlikely to see that you're making fun of it, either. ![]() I don't get Ian's journey, either. I was a huge fan early, even stayed with him when he took the big detour. I've struggled to connect with him over the last few years. That doesn't say anything about his music, but all about my connection to it. Maybe I'll reconnect someday. I hope so, I think he's very talented.
