Thumbs up Anyone got the new "Testament" record?

Sofar it bringeth the RAWK.

Album startsd with a nice galloping riff. Seems that modern "metal" folks have forgotten what that is.

I also dig Chuck Billy's voice. One of the richer sounding voices in thrash.

Yes. Pretty good cd. If you like that you might want to pick up the new Exodus. They RE recorded the first album(Bonded By Blood) as a tribute to Paul. It is now called Let There Be Blood and the new guy does it all justice. Very good effort.

It took awhile, releasing old stuff over and over again. But, they got Alex and Louie back for the reunion a few years back. Alex isn't touring for this tour now (so if you buy your tickets, know it's Glen Drover taking over Alex's position).

New Testament?
Exodus?

I think Genesis has a new box set coming out soon.

Now we just need Deuteronomy to release a new album and we'll be all set.

Yes, it kicks ass over the new Malltallica. They are great live too.

Hell yeah! I thought it was a wait worthwhile for this new record, imho one of the finest comeback ever for a thrash band

It is somehow an impossible incarnation of the oxymoron, modern classic.

The best thrash album to come out in a long time. Unlike Overkill or Metallica, Exodus and Testament still have it.

I've spun it a couple of times... it definitely wasn't a letdown, but I've been wearing out Iron Maiden's A Matter Of Life And Death. Mmm green...

Also, Audioslave's last album was called Revelations. Doesn't quite fit the pattern, but it'll do.
