Wow, the greatest cover band in the world... now with karaoke singer! I mean surely they can't need the money, should do it under another name and do some new tracks if they want to work together.

After a lot of thought and debate on a possible comeback, I hope they don't do it, with our without Plant. I saw the Katie Couric interview with Robert Plant and agree with him...why go back doing what he was doing 30-40 years ago?

It would be nostalgia at best...after seeing many of the "classic" bands from the 60s and 70s over the last couple of years, I usually (not always) leave a little disappointed because my expecations were too high.

Leave the legacy in tact...please don't be like Muhammad Ali, Willie Mays, The Who, that held on just a little too long.

Just saw Plant with Allison Krauss, and he was great! I think they should do a limited tour together, and it would still rock better than most, Jimmy is the one I would be worried about, his lead playing has slipped big time.

i'd rather see plants reworked zep tunes w/ the strangers, or krauss and t bone than a reformed zeppelin. that might just be me though.

So we can have Page and Plant without Jones, or Page and Jones without Plant? I pick.........

........the Scorpions!
Their new album rocks, and they sound like they still WANT to be making vital and exciting music.

This whole thing makes me think much less of Plant. For heaven's sake.... if he didn't need the money he could donate it to charity or something! I think the poor cat can't cut it and he knows it.
Honestly, what would it hurt to do one last Zeppelin tour for those of us who didn't see them with Bonham? Would 30 days of his life kill Plant to give the FANS what they want?

What, exactly, would be the point?

Personally, I think Page has just become desperate for attention in his old age. His playing is but a shadow of what it once was (and which was ALWAYS very inconsistent live anyway). I mean did you see that travesty at the Olympics! I'm surprised he's willing to show his face after that (and that any of his fans would still be willing to fork over the big bucks to see him)!

No, better to just let him fade into the past where he only really exists anyway. I'm a huge fan, but I'd rather enjoy him in his prime on record and in memory, than have him tarnish it any further by actual performance.
