We read all these things on TGP about various pedals. Sounds can speak louder than words.

To my ear the low end is the slightest bit tighter at the higher voltage :-)

Funny...Love it! :-)
The NKT is way sweet, I suspect the KOT would score highly as well.
I will try an experiment after this thing slows down.
I will do a blind fuzz shootout poll jus' out of curiosity

With the help of my sweetie, I got to listen to the clips not knowing which was which. I ranked them in this order:
  1. Analogman Sunface NKT-275
  2. Prescription Electronics Yardbox
  3. Love Pedal 200 LBS
  4. M I Audio Neo Fuzz
  5. Analogman Sunface BC 108
  6. Pigtronix Fuzz
  7. Pedalworx McFuzz

Nice, given I own an Analogman Sunlion which I love.

Thanks for all the work. I will listen to the ODs the same way.

cheers,
Ian

Way cool :-)

Lets see some folks list the OD's as well... I realize it will take time to digest all this

Couple things.........

1st of all......thanks, H......good stuff.

I REALLY prefer fuzz into a breaking up amp.......these sound good, but could be better, IMO. The OD files are awesome.

Assuming some of these were Bruce's peds......

The McFuzz is a HOT version.....all silicon......I actually think there's a something slightly wrong with it. Never sounded right to me. The standard McFuzz is a germ/sil hybrid, and one of the fattest, most versatile fuzzes around. (same thing as a Hellbilly).

The NEO fuzz has a TON of adjustability.............can go from wha you dialed in to mosquito-buzz "Spirit in the Sky" to whacked out, easy.

The Yard Box is very underrated........terrific pedal, as you show.

Finally.....you should have contacted me.....I always have boxes available for testing!

cheers,

Jim
