s2 Amps / Category 5 Announcement

Just to clear up some confusion, I would like to announce that I have quite my software engineering day job and am now building amplifiers full-time along with a small staff.

We are growing and are very happy about it!

i wish you much success.. but got to say, having lived through most of the storms you name your amps after, and having been wiped out by Katrina,
although i have been accused of having a totally whacked out sense of humor, i could never own anything that reminded me of such a negative experience..

Not to derail, but any chance you can post some clips of the TGP bedroom amps (besides the california) on the s2amps website?

Wow - I heard your job got outsourced to bangalore dude - that major bites. The economy is really beating some businesses up pretty rough.

Hopefully you'll be able to pull yourself through doing this full time - it's a pretty rough economy for small companies now, but I remember you said you have dealers lined up for that new amp company you hadn't named yet - so get on the phone, and get those sales closed fast! Maybe you can land some new amps on dealer shelves in time for Christmas?

I see you got a great review on Cat5 amps in PG too, so that could help fuel this... the more fires you stoke now the better!

Break a leg, and I hope doing this full time brings you all that you deserve.

I sort of got outsourced to Bangalore. It was a couple of months in the making, and they asked me to manage the offshoring effort once they had reorganized and thinned the herd sufficiently. I flatly declined and lost my job. This was 9 or 10 weeks ago.

So far, so good on the amp thing. It's a pay cut, but I'm much happier working for myself.
