If you need your pedal re-housed, here's the guy to do it

I just had 2 pedals rehoused by MaxxPlay (Anthony) at www.electrick-garage.com, and I has to post about it because he was an absolute gentleman, and his service is unmatched in my book. I sent him my old Boss CE-2 and my ugly (to me) yellow Diamond Comp. He had them done in 3 days with new enclosures, paint, and fully tested. He shipped them out this morning so I should have them in a couple of days. If you have an old (or new) pedal and you'd like to get it re-packed, Anthony is your man. Just let him know what you'd like and he'll discuss it with you. He also has his own line of custom made pedals too. Thanks again Anthony, you da man!

Looks to be legit. I just sent an email inquiring about the cost of an Arion SCH-Z rehouse. Also, I'm slightly tempted to get my BD-2 rehoused, but its already Keeley Mod'ed, and I don't want to mess anything up there.

Hey zsno,
Anthony can just transfer your BD-2 into a new enclosure. It shouldn't interfere with the Mod. If it'll fit into one of his enclosures, I'm pretty certain he can do it.

any idea what the prices for rehousing are like? I can't seem to find them on the site. I'm also kinda interested in the glowing wah thing

Best bet would be to email him with your needs, since there are so many variants with pedals. He's open to your requests too. He didn't have a paint color that I liked so I sent him my own paint and he used that. He'll even email you a sketch drawing before he does anything to make sure it's what you want. I recommend him highly.

Hey DaBlizzardofOz,
I sent you a PM

I've seen his true bypass loopers for sale on eBay. Looks like nice quality.

I've got a pic, but I don't know how to post it. Anyone want to post it for me? Email me here: davids39@bigplanet.com
He swapped out the switch for a standard pushbutton type.

Here you go. I love the minimalism. What does he charge?

Thanks jeak!
I'll probably put my own labels on them and change out the knobs for something cooler. I'm not a bright color freak so most people probably won't like them. I'd suggest emailing Anthony to talk about pricing. If anyone is curious, you can email me.

I just got a rough quote for 65-75 to rehouse an arion chorus, depending on options.

Considering I see a lot of places charge about $50 for true bypassing.. this sounds like a good deal. Maybe I can finally get my EH-2 bypassed and recased finally.

Looks like he uses Hammond boxes. It's not that difficult to rehouse a pedal. I've rehoused and converted a couple of EH pedals(Big Muff and Phasor) to true bypass. Pretty straightforward, quick and easy.
