Rio Grand Tall Boy Humbucker - Anyone using it?

I hear it sound graet when split, how does it sound when not split?. Is it considered to be in the PAF territory?

Thanks

it's not really a true paf type. it's 2 single coils wired together. that's why it works so well when split.

have several humbuckers from Rio Grande all are split coil, muy grande and the texas bbq sets, all are split coils and all sound incredible, the muy grande is the tall boy and half breed with the tall boy in the single coil, and I have the tall boy and halfbreeds in my fat strat as well,

just get the 4 conductor,

as far as tone if your looking for PAF get PAF, have a couple of sets of Rio Grande's Texas BBQ split coils in both my LPs they replaced a set of PAF pups in my lp custom that I hated for years and years, now that guitar sings amazing.
