Lizardleg Effects Flying Dragon

First, I'd like to thank Steve for this AWESOME program he has....

Anyone familiar with Lizardleg Effects TOURBOX PROGRAM ?

Basically, he has a few pedals that he sends out to a list of "borrowers" who check out the pedal & then send it on to the next guy in line on the list.

How friggin' awesome is THAT ?????!!!!!

So, I signed up a little bit ago & received an email today that a Flying Dragon is on the way to me.

Honestly, I don't care if it's the worst pedal I've ever tried...I give the dude props for such a fantastic idea & program.

Anyway, I was curious to see if anyone has tried out this pedal & what might I expect.....I'll certainly leave a review when I'm done testing.

I'm actually looking for a good boost pedal & will certainly be purchasing one if it fits the bill :AOK

Steve, here's to you...looking forward to checking it out ! :BEER

I'm not sure if the idea was thought out by him

But yeah tourboxes are great fun

I was on the Canadian leg of the tour! Cool box for sure and a great idea for sellers to do this. You have to be patient but it is worth it... kind of like christmas comes early when you get it.

PUCKBOY99,

Just go ahead and order one, trust me you will like it! I've had mine for a few months and it stays on all the time. Steve is a top notch guy and is a straight shooter. Let us know what you think once it arrives.

I was on the list for the Canadian tourbox but couldn't wait or resist and went ahead and ordered one! Should have it on the next week or so.

Thanks guys - I don't think I was the first to do a tourbox, but it makes sense. I know I hate buying something that I either haven't heard or haven't played through my rig, so it gives everyone a chance to try one out - with your rig, at home, playing live, etc. - with no more obligation than the few $ to send on to the next player on the list.

SO........

Finally getting around to responding here; had to ship my Tourbox model out to the next guy in line.

LOVED this boost pedal & ordered one....thinking about getting 2.

Here's my thought:

Liked it alot as a boost. Nice & transparent, just boosts the sound while not altering the tone.

LOVED it set just the slightest bit higher than unity. I was leaving it on with single coils & it gave such a nice fuller tone without "boosting" the volume, if that makes sense.

So I'm thinking, get 2...use 1 as a "Tone" boost & the 2nd as a regular "Volume" boost.

Anyone else using 2 boost pedals ?
