New Pickups for my first guitar..

Its a Squier Affinity Series Strat. My First guitar. Its in pieces now cause im re-building it, new electronics and etc.

I've come down to pickup selection now. I WILL be gigging it, prolly will be my backup.

What are a good and cheap (affordable) set of three single coils? (Its SSS)

I play mostly the usual P&W stuff like Lincoln Brewster, Planetshakers, Hillsong, Delirious and New Life worship. to rock stuff like Paramore, Relient K, Kutless, Plainsunset, Daughtry, Creed and Coldplay. I do also play blues stuff like John Mayer, EC, EJ and the like.

Looking forward to some great replies!

Thanks!
James

Hmmm. If your looking for single coil tones in the SSS configuration I would say check out the Fender 57/62's or if ya want to spend a bit more check out the Fender custom shop 69's. Hope this helps some!

Check out GFS or Tonerider pickups:
guitarfetish.com
tonerider.com

Both offer great pickups, and at low prices.

I am about to do the same thing with my MIJ Silver Series Squier Strat.
Looking at getting a GFS hand wired tortoiseshell pickguard with Premium II Alnico II pickups.
