Blackheart 5watt head..... Crank it up all the way?

Ive read about guys cranking the 5 watt head all the way up. Is this amp desinged for this? Will it hurt it with the matching cab?

The matching cab is rated at 75 watts RMS. I don't think your going to hurt it with a 5 watt head. As for running the head wide open, I haven't tried it, yet. I don't know if it would damage it or not.

I ran my BH5H with all knobs maxed and it screamed...for more.

Ok, yeah that was a little too cheesy. Seriously though it sounded great. I played it with a stock Epiphone Valve Junior 1x12 cab and had replaced the stock tubes with JJ's. Well worth the money in my opinion.

Sure, turn all the amp knobs as far as they go, and use guitar volume and tone to season the sound to taste. You can't hurt anything.

These amps do sound good stock, and turned up. If you really want to make this amp sound great and even louder, try the upgrade kit from Mojo. With the hand wired kit it sounds much better and gives it a lot more headroom. Since finishing mine I just can't stop playing this amp.
