MIM Strat/ Sienna Burst...ever seen one?

I ran into one of these at the local GC today, I had never seen one. It played great, looked great and was $100 higher than the regular MIMs...was this possibly a special GC/Musicians Friend run from last year?? If anyone knows chime in!
They are not on the Fender site that I could find.

There was an FSR Deluxe players strat in Sienna Sunburst last year or so....that could be it...

could be, this one did not have the push button for the extra PU combinations though... any others?

At this time, it is. The newer mexicans strats are $449. So it is $50 more for the color I guess.

Did this model have the wider bridge screw mount array? (Deluxe feature)

The Deluxes are upgraded in a lot of different ways, so we're usually talking about a retail price of $ 550 last year depending on which Deluxe model, against $ 399 for the base MIM Standard. I guess some folks actually paid the $ 50 premium for the MIM Standard veneer sunburst.

BTW, the new 08 veneer sunburst MIM Standards with a very nice tint on the neck and serial number to the back of the headstock is still labeled $ 449, at least the Teles are.

I did not think to check the bridge. There is one guy there (at GC) that knows his stuff and is also willing to be helpful, I may call, and if I can get him on the phone maybe sort this little mystery out.
And by the way they had the "sale" price as $755, and the "Retail" price as $699, when I pointed this out they came up with the $499 price ?!?!?
The guy I talked to said that was with a case...but I'm not too sure he had a clue to what he was talking about.

Sienna Burst is on an Ash body for which Fender has an upcharge.
