Will a Gibson gig bag for a Les Paul fit a Squier Tele?

I have a spare Gibson gig bag lying around that I want to use for a beater Tele I just bought. It's the official Gibson gig bag that came with the Les Paul Special SL I bought in '99.

Any idea if this will fit? I don't need an exact fit... just close enough to protect it halfway decently.

Anyone? I'm at my parents' house where the gig bag is and am trying to decide whether to take it home with me... a quick answer is appreciated as I'm packing as we speak.

Take it with you, should fit fine. I have a few of the triangular Gibson bags that fit teles great.
