Charlie Sexton's Strat - Info Needed

Charlie is one of my very favorite guitar players.
A great songwriter, guitarist, and all around musician.

Does anyone have any ifo on his white Strat with lipstick pickups in it?
A pic for reference is on the homepage of Durham Electronics website:
http://durhamelectronics.com/

Also, I found a Youtube vid of him using it:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zrskfApvS08

Anyone know if this is one of Charley Wirz's guitars? Or, does anyone have any information about this guitar at all? I'd be interested to know what the pickups came out of, and if the Strat is new/old, etc...

Thanks All!

Killer solo in that clip. I saw him at The Coach House a long time ago and loved the show. I know nothing about his Strat unfortunately...

Yeah, that's a song off his CD "Cruel and Gentle Things", the whole song is great, but when they play it live it is just fantastic, with an extended guitar solo.
Incidentally I was at the ACL Festival in 2006 when this was filmed, and am actually in the video. Funny!

Yup. Believe it was a proto Ron Wood sig strat Ronnie gave him.

Added the lipsticks because they were cleaner through the Soldano he was using.

Is the headstock different than the usual ESP's which are smaller and almost Tele like?

What an amazing artist. Would love to hear what kind of setup he is using these days.

Charlie has a killer, unique rig. I used to know what it was, but I've since lost that information.

Alan Durham (the guy who wrote post #4) probably knows. Perhaps he'd be so kind as to post again here. Anyone want to ask him?

Charlie Rig

His rig is constantly changing, but the one constant on amps are his VOX AC50's. He is using a custom 412 cabinet with 2 150Watt Red Coat Tonkers (low) and 2 Red Coat 75 Watt Governor speakers (high) in it. This last ARC Angels tour he is using a 65 London with matching cabinet. He also plays a Branham (local amp guy in Austin) 112 with 2 EL34's sometimes, and a VOX V15 or AC30. The low wattage amp is what is always changing in his rig. He depends mostly on the AC50's for his sound.

In his rack he uses a TC 2290 for preset delays and sometimes a Korg SD2000.

If you go to durhamelectronics.com I have a picture of his most recent pedal board. It says he is using Boomerang (he pulled it from the rig due to noise).

Thanks, I was remembering from a GW or GP article.
When Arc came out I was completely enthralled and got into Charlie's solo stuff that way (backward and then forward).

Such a fabulous artist. As good of a player as he is, he's an even better songwriter.
