Using delay without a loop in a clean amp... no loop needed?
Lets say I'm running a Tone King Meteor II but want to use some delay ala Gilmour...
What are my options? Gain from pedals with the delay at the end of the chain? ![]()

Yep, OD pedal } delay} and having amp set up to push the power tubes a bit will make for some great tone.

/\ For that money, aren't you better off putting the money into true bypass pedals with clean mix controls? I've set up my mixing gear to do what this pedal does, wasn't a big deal for me.

My amp rig consists of two '64 Vibroverb clones, so I've always had delay at the end of my effects chain and not in a loop and couldn't be happier. As long as you are not blasting the power tubes (which I take from the title of this thread that you are not), you should be fine.
