"I defiled a timeless piece of art!"
I think John would have approved.

Well, I'll just say that I believe he is a brilliant man. He seems to be able to do whatever he puts his mind to.
And this video shows how close acting is to being a lead singer. I mean in the way that he is able to convey meaning... to communicate. I bet a few lead singers could probably learn some things from him. |

His was no worse then Bono's, which was good too.

Try this one.
I played it for a group of Beatles' fans recently, and they LOVED IT! They said, if you're gonna do a classic, make it your own. http://www.last.fm/music/Spooky+Tooth/_/I+Am+The+Walrus Click play on the player at top right.

This was for George Martin's "In my life" swan song LP before his retirement, 1998???
I think Jim was the perfect choice for that tune! Cool interpretation and a sense of humor yet you can tell he has immense respect for the Beatles

He's a talented man, that was very good. More importantly, it looked like they enjoyed themselves immensely.

I think it's great and fits the silly lyrics perfectly.

I had a blast too!
I also agree that Lennon may have liked it. |
