It's kinda got an 'Abyss' feel to it.
Well, maybe 'Abyss' plus 'Saturday Night Fever'.
Bee Gees in 'Life Aquatic'?

This video and your reactions to it remind me of the scene from The Producers when the audience is angry and disgusted. Then, one aware persons says, "Why - it's a comedy!" Everyone else then gets it, simmers down, laughs, and digs the show.

From a guitar player point of view it's anticlimactic.
If I heard only the song I wouldn't like it.
The video makes this worth while. I "kinda" liked it.

I really like it, though I think they could have dome something more interesting with the chorus... The verses are awesome.

THIS is a good cover song. It's not trying to be like the original in the least, big kudos for that. If there's anything that annoys me, it's when bands regurgitate songs by other artists. If you're going to do a cover, then bring something new to the song, make it fresh again.

+1 for the Bee Gees reference - they were definitely channeling the Gibbs for this one..

I only made about a minute in before I had to go bang my head on the wall a few times to clear it.
