Donnerbox Spacial Delay: Who makes it and who is Donner?

I've had a Donnerbox Spatial Delay for a few years now and I've been confused the whole time... who made it and who is Donner? I thought some guy named Donner made it but now it looks like all he does is PAINT pedals. Since Donnerbox.com doesn't exist, I am in the dark. Is the Spatial Delay a BJF pedal? I get a little noise from mine from time to time, a pitched oscilation based on if the pedal is set for long or short delay. Can anyone tell me about the pedal and what I can do about the noise?

Best,
Randy

I don't really know about the Spacial Delay, sorry, but Donner does in fact do a lot more than just paint stuff. He's kind of shifted gears lately though, check up on his newer gig here:

I think the story is something like Donner hooked up with some builder to "design" a couple pedals and said builder built them (duh) and Donner painted them... or something like that.

Randy,

Can you post some pictures (inside & outside)? Maybe there's something that helps to solve this

Does it look like this:

From the Website 4ms Pedals:

"Spatial Delay in production! Thu, Feb 8, 2007

We're building batches of a delay based on the PT2399 chip for Donnerbox. These will be sold through Donnerbox, not as 4ms Pedals. There's two variations: an LFO modulated version, and a stompable dual Time/Echo-level version."

Ah the Spatial Delay

Yeah I came up with the concept/look/design for a line of Donnerbox pedals and found someone to do the 'insides' while I did the 'outsides' ...

at the time BJF was mostly drives and the Mad Professor line was just a distant twinkle in the eye... so I thought to make a delay and a couple modulations.... The Spatial delay at the time was one of the first to use the PT chip that is everywhere now

the first / Four knob version was indeed made by Bad Karma Studio ...

then I had another idea and went to the guys I wanted to first (and should have) 4ms - fellow St. Louisans - there are 2 versions of the 6 knobber - one has two times and the other has stompable modulation...

the delay feild was starting to get crowded so after the first batch of about a dozen I let it go .....

I have thought about having some more done for the Full Moon Pedals and Amps line and still may as that gets going again ...... in fact the Spatial paintjob is the inspiration for the Full Moon 'Nightsky' look
