idk... something about it tells me it's over $100, and I just can't bring myself to spend that much on a tuner... ntm I've never seen a use for an EQ pedal... :\

Display is too small too...

I don't mean to down it because it's certainly a cool idea, but then again, I just can't get all that excited about it :\

They also make a bass eq: http://www.artecsound.com/effect/se-beq.htm

This sounds like something a lot of bassists could get some use out of.

Actually, you can get the Bass version with Buy It Now on eBay for $54.95. They don't show the guitar version, but judging by all the prices, the guitar version is probably the same.

I don't know if these effects are any good, but the prices are good. I kind of like the specs of the volume pedal.

looks interesting.
Anybody tried other artec pedals? I see they're cheap and all metal case/jacks and truebypass

How's the accuracy on the tuning? This isn't that bad looking at all so far.

I searched TGP for "Artec". and also looked at Harmony Central, where they have reviews of a number of the pedals. A couple of TGPr's have tried the active volume, which I was interested in, and gave them pretty high marks (none on Harmony Central). You might try searching these two forums for the particular pedal you want.

Looks like something that would be very cool to stick in the loop of a Tim pedal...

I know it's a bump from a Noob but i have this pedal and thought i'd give my thoughts.
It's pretty good as an eq pedal. It gives a nice boost and feels well made. I've had it on my board for a couple of gigs and even more practices and it is holding up well. The tuner is ok. Not as accurate as a dedicated tuner like the Pitchblack but good enough to get in tune. I picked mine up pretty cheap but i'd say it's worth the $55 somebody quoted earlier.

Hey, thanks for the bump, Gonkboy! And welcome to TGP!! These pedals look very interesting. I found them for sale here: http://guitarfuel.com/artec_pedalsd.php and they are priced quite nicely. I am particularly interested in the parameteric eq for my acoustic. Are there any more observations about the quality of these? I would want to make sure this is a quiet pedal if it goes in my acoustic chain (a dtar preamp and lexicon mx200 effects processor)

Vince
