A Tribe Called Quest w/ Guitar Added

For those of you who like tribe called quest, I put some guitar on "Get A Hold", and also guitar on a single by Q-tip called "Official". The Q-tip one is still a rough mix.

i think this kind of thing is cool as long as it's for your own amusement. i am a big tribe fan (and q-tip too) and think that this music is perfect as it is. i thought the guitar panned to the left on the tribe track was cool. it got a bit busy once the 2nd guitar came in and kind of killed the groove. watch your volume levels especially on the q-tip track. i think they will sit better in the mix if you lower the volume.

Yeah I'm still really bad at mixing, I'm just messing around with stuff to figure it out. Any tips on websites or places to help teach some recording programs/general info?
