Most recent example that crack is rampant in Signature Guitars.

No words really...

are you referring to the $10k list price?

yeah it seems rather high for a japanese guitar, but it *is* an anniversary limited edition with lots of goodies included, after all. and it is most likely hand-crafted in Ibanez's highest level custom shop..

priced a similarly marketed Gibson lately?

or are you referring to the design?

i think it's awesome. the shape, the wood, the pickup configuration, the pickguard, the bridge.. if they ever release a production version.. i'm in! :AOK

I like the guitar. It seems expensive.

The new Jeff Beck les paul. The limited signed one is supposed to be around 25k.

Anyone get a price on the Bloomfield or Krieger?

I was shocked when I was the price of the Fireman. I wanted one too.

I kinda' want one of the new PGMs. Maybe if one comes up used for about half price I'll snag it. I've been wanting one of the old PGMs for a while too.

Fireman looks cool, but it's not my bag really. I'd be curious how it plays and sounds though.

I'm no businessman, but Ibanez must have done the research and think that they can sell this guitar at a high price. I was frankly shocked at some of their other guitars, like the Satriani model for something like $6k, but this one blows me away...almost as much as Paul's playing!

Gilbert's huge in Japan (and cultish big here). There are definitely fans that will gobble those 30 (or however many) up.

Here you go for an expensive Ibanez.

http://ibanez.wikia.com/wiki/S100SPL

They are priced at 16k. They only made 15 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Hoshino.

The new PGM100 20th anniversary is more moderately priced and looks pretty cool. Lists at $2666

Yeah, I'd get that one, but I'd want to try to score one used for half price, ideally. I'm not crazy about the trem, but I like the guitar a little better than the previous white PGM that goes for $1300.

This one would be ideal for me

But if it's as rare as that forum says it is, I'm sure I wouldn't be willing to pay that much for it.

They are taking a vote to revive any Paul Gilbert model here:
http://www.ibanez.co.jp/PGM20/list.html

The are gong to reissue the winner in america...some of the choices were only available in other countries.

I voted PGM300. I love the lo pro edge.

Wait, $2600 for a mass produced PGM from Ibanez? Are you sh*tting me? No thanks. Not when I can get hand-made instruments of much higher quality for that price, and even get them to do paint on f-holes for me.
