Really. Is this really great, or is this just me? I love the fact that her vocal is not processed, very not auto-tune'ed (that how after the guitar solo that actually goes sharp), & is generally pretty un-ornamented. It's like a different, but just as deep, kind of "soul" music. Post-western swing, post big band, but with elements of both, plus country, plus gospel, plus blues.

Funny, the thing I like the least about it is the guitar solo, tone and playing-wise. Doesn't turn me off to the whole band's effort, but was a little less-than-totally-sweet, to me.

Blah, rant. I like it. Zing.

Yep she's great! I like that she doesn't do the fake country accent thing and just has an incredible voice and delivery. I thought the guitar was OK, just too compressed for me. Without all the compression it would have been a much nicer fit for the song IMO.

She is almost as good as that little blond-headed country girl that won American idol a few years back. A few more years maybe.

No she isn't. But her performance here is outstanding. It dispells my belief that she has a weak voice. Her "It Matters to Me" release is one of my favorite country records.

I opened for Faith's band several times in the past and I can attest that she can sing.
