whammy troubleshooting
would anyone happen to know if the digitech whammy has a fuse inside? I unplugged it at the pedal, plugged it back in a few minutes later and nothing. The unit is still mint, I have barely used it, and its been sitting in a covered pedal board since the day I bought it.

I don't know if they ever changed this or not, but I thought the adapter had a fuse in it. I had a problem with mine years ago, and the guy I took it to mentioned something to that effect.
Edit: I have a WH-4 if that's relevant.

doing that wouldn't destroy the fuse, its most likely the power supply, mine gave out randomly the other day. Try another adapter if you can then report back

Ok
Thanks for the responses, this page came highly recommended, and I see why. I would have spent hours carefully tearing the casing apart on this, but you have saved me from that.
Is original Hpro series adapter necessary or can I get a multi adapter from wal mart and match the polarity? The wire gauge seems a bit thicker on the original. |
