Anyone know if Soulcactus is still around in some form?

Larry Kanefsky had a place in Arizona called Soulcactus Sound. He had great
gear and was a terrific person to deal with. I knew he was planning on moving to the Indianapolis area a couple years ao and setting up shop there.
I've done some searches but can't locate him or the store. Anybody know anything?

Thanks!

There was a sub-page on the site that had this - i've not heard of him here though:

12262 Packers Avenue
Fishers, IN 46037

http://www.soulcactus.com/2008/cactu...oulcactus.html

I think that is residential area though - maybe he runs it from his house?

Actually, I think was thinking about running it out of his residence.
I know Soulcactus was by appointment only, so this totally makes sense.

Thanks for the tip. Hope Larry's doing well--nice cat.

Yeah, I got Victoria 35310 from him back in 1999, and it is probably the best musical purchase I have or will ever make. I had no clue whatsoever as to what amp I should go with, and certainly never thought about an amp with no reverb or effects loop, but he steered me right to the 35310 and I've never looked back.

Good guy. I picked up a 51 Nocaster Cunetto Relic with a serial number from the very first batch of 50 from him. It's a beautiful guitar, needless to say.

Hey all, thanks for the kind words. Sorry this is a year late. I am well, I live in Fairfax, VA. I am no longer in the business, as it just got too hard for me to compete due to various factors. Thank you for being fans! Keep checking on me, as I will now continue on to live thru the music that I write and put up over the internet. All good things for everyone this year! Be cool and keep the tone rolling!

Hey Larry,

Good to hear from you, man! Sorry, you're not in the business anymore (you may not be, though). Anyway, please stay in touch--I think of you every time I plug in the Matchless Lightning I bought from you, as well as every time I put on my grey T-shirt with the cactus playing guitar and smoking a cigarette!

All the best in 2010 and beyond, my friend.
