Supposedly the 7 string modern will come first.

Yea, set neck now, set neck now, set neck now! We won't take it any longer. Silly amp stuff, stupid 7-string stuff. If this continues any longer, I'm gonna tell John's mom.

I will most definitely be checking out that new 7!

Id probably want a carve top 7 with the Basswood/Maple Combo and a Maple neck. Maybe even Pau Ferro.

I can wait for the set neck. I'm curious, but never really loved set necks as much as i do bolt ons or neck thrus.

7-strings are for polydactyls, somewhere beneath the terradactyls, in Darwinian terms.

In my opinion set necks are WAY OVERATED . I've been playing for 34 years and up until about 2 years ago I never had anything but set necks or neck thru guitars . I was of the opinion that it was a nescessity for a good tone and good sustain . Well guess what I was wrong . I have had about 25 guitars over the years mostly gibsons and a couple of hamers . The gibsons were mostly les pauls but I've also had explorers and an sg or 2 . I now own 2 guitars a suhr standard and a wayne rock legand . They are both incredible guitars and IMHO have better tone than any of the set necks I've owned . As for as sustain goes . I've got more than enough of that as well .
I realize everyone has different tast and if you prefer a set neck then thats your perogative . Just don't overlook a guitar just because it has a bolt on .
