Line 6 POD 2.0 settings/patches

Hello,

I just picked up a used POD 2.0 to doink around with. Unlike some of the other POD gear, this cannot be connected to a computer without using MIDI. I'm trying to located some setting preferences (pilot's logs) that emulate certain guitar sounds or guitarists, i.e. - a David Gilmour setting, or a Metallica setting, whatever.

Any help is appreciated.

Dale

I have two POD 2.0's and a POD Pro. I used to hook them all up to the computer and download patches, etc. I found that if I leave the presets in place and just tweak them to my liking, I get as good or better results. I take the four that I like most and set them up on a channel bank that has presets that I don't care for and then use the footswitch to play each channel like an amp. I leave one set up in my practice space at home, one in my rehearsal spot for headphone rehearsals and the POD Pro in a rack case for acoustic gigs (I use the Tube Preamp patch). Of course YMMV. Good luck.

Not sure about the 2.0, but for gilmour start out with the Hi-watt amp model and 1 of the delays and go from there. Don't do metalica much, but for enter the sandman I used an acoustic amp model and got it pretty close. I don't mess with patches or any of the PC stuff.
