Amp tech/repair in Reno, Tahoe,Truckee, Sacramento, or Bay Area?

Any suggestions for a good amp tech in the Tahoe, Reno, Truckee area?
Or even Sacramento or the Bay Area such as San Fran, Modesto, Stockton, etc?

If not, I may contact Jim Foote at Music Works in LA. Thanks.

Jim

I've been going to Tube Sonic here in Sacramento.

Shane the owner is a good guy and does good work. He also has killer deals on NOS tubes... but stay away from my mullards.

+1 Tube Sonic Audio......Shane Manning is honest, and has a huge supply of NOS and UOS tubes at decent prices...... he tests all tubes and will even allow you to audition tubes before you buy in your amp......

He serviced my 69 Princeton Reverb..... did a beautiful job. Custom built me a 2x10 cabinet. He also works on tube HiFi audio...... restored a couple Dynaco ST70's for a buddy of mine.

I forgot to add that Shane at Tube Sonic in Sacramento is a certified Marshall, Fender, Peavey and I think, Mesa repairman...... He's always got some cool old gear he's working on down there. Check him out.... he's off of Hwy 50 and Bradshaw, around Rancho Cordova area. That's probably about 2 hours from Reno.
