Road Worn ESQUIRE is here!~ just got one!

This Road Worn Tele, I just got in a trade - it had a dead neck pickup and a few dents in the frets from a drop? - or maybe the original relic tool?

So It gave me the idea to make it a "Esquire" out of it - so I had a old looking Blackgaurd Relic Esquire Pickgaurd handy - and wolla! --
Now it reminds me of Seymour Duncans signature Esquire - and that reminded me I really wanted one of those when they were first announced - but then we found out that they were $3,000.00 ~~forget it!
Sorry but I don't spend more the 1000.00 on any guitar here on new ones I'll ever own -
to me its just wood and steel & so I never can see the value after about $1,200.00 in any Fender guitar~~
-- so this pretty much gave me that Seymour Duncan artist model Esquire That I always wanted -

so for now..all I need to do is add a tapped Esquire pickup and I'm good to go. just got it a hour or two ago..

so this is like my wannbee $3000.00 Esquire that only cost $900.00 street?

This looks cool! Did you give up on the Jeff Beck strat search? I still think you should try to find a Strat Plus!

Tapped Esquire pup without the $ 3,000.00 price tag.

Sounds like a tempting proposition, Don!

That's a great idea- score a Roadworn tele and do the Esquire conversion and save a few grand. I wish they made the Roadworn teles in sonic, seafoam, or daphne. I'd be all over that.
