Truth be told, I play Bardens, But I have had Kinmans and Bill Lawrence pickups. I have played guitars with Duncans and Fender noiseless. If I couldn't play the Bardens, I would play the Lawrences. They are fine, fine pickups, and not expensive, to boot. Also, Bill and Becky Lawrence are just sweethearts.

Good pickups, but not hum-canceling

I use the old Fender Vintage Noiseless and they are very good and just as you describe.

Man, I for one don't mind the noise when playing Fender guitars but decided I needed one Tele that was noisless for some gigs where the noise was an issue, I landed on Bardens and never looked back...they sound killer and are dead silent. I've never tried any other noiseless pickups that sounded good enough for me to even think about buying them!
Why are you not interested in the Bardens??? |
