Diamond Amplification Spitfire II and Phantom?

Anyone rocked these? miT from 311 uses them, Bob Rock endorses the Spitfire II, and I get to rock them on 3/11 with Lynn Burke of Blues City Music.

Let me hear something!

if you want to hear some lead tones from my Phantom, check out By Your Side and September's Gone on my myspace page. The rhythm's were already tracked when I got the amp, but I love it!

The clean channel can actually hang with my '64 Deluxe and my Matchless C-30!

The only experience I've had with the Diamond amps is with the Spec Op and no offense to any owners but it was one of the worst sounding amps I have ever played. Its was then their flagship amp and the one they were pushing. A good buddy of mine is a dealer for them and we have similar ears for tone and tastes and said the other models are the same. He actually had a chance to play some proto of some of the newer models and said that they just don't cut it. he did comment that they were built very well but just didn't have the tone.

Of course that's just 2 guys opinions and YMMV...

Don't know anything about 'em, though Marcus Schefer is now heading Artist Relations for them... He's a good guy, happy to help...
