Rice Custom Guitars
A few month ago I picked up a Rice Custom (#024) from a forum member. When the guitar was posted, Rich Rice posted to the thread offering a discounted setup to the new owner. The guitar was in good shape as advertised, but had obviously been played hard. After a phone consultation with Rich, my guitar was shipped off for evaluation. Within a day of receiving the guitar, Rich and Chris contacted me with recommendations that would restore the guitar to near-original condition.

I received the guitar yesterday and all I can say is "Wow!" Rich and Chris did an unbelievable job of restoring the guitar. Action, fit, finish - everything perfect! In my opinion, a truly amazing instrument, and I have owned many boutique guitars over the years. The personalized customer service I received exceeded my expectations - these guys really care about their craft and build some killer guitars - first rate! :AOK

Yea that looks real nice. Dont usually dig purple or gold hardware but everything on that guitar works. Love the neck and headstock.

Thanks! Actually, in person it is more of a charcoal color with a slight gold/orange tint in the grain. I think Rich and Chris actually call it charcoal burst. Never seen anything quite like it - the pics really don't do it justice.

Purple...I like that idea! We did one purple guitar a few years ago, but all of my pictures of it are blue?!?

I have some of the pictures from when it was first completed, the color is more clearly charcoal greyburst.

The site no longer displays the actual page address in the address bar (frames). No matter what page you're viewing, it displays the address of the page you came in on.
