New amp 5-15 Watts?

I would love to pick up a new amp (preferabbly a combo) 5-15 watts mainly for clean "pop-rock" songwriting, maybe a grab and go coffeesop gig amp.

Something maybe in the vox/tophat/bad cat realm
oh, and under $800

used is fine

fender hot rod deluxe with a JJs 6v6s, that is my amp, its 20 watts, but gives you more options, several mods are available as well, I am getting the omega mod right now, $250 if you decide to go for it.

http://www.omegaamps.com/mods2.html

a dummy plug in the external speaker jack sets the transformer for the 6v6s, so you don't have rebias the amp, and if you need more power the amps is 40 watts with the 6L6s, and the amp is a great gig amp, very portable. $700 new the tubes are $36 for a pair from eurotubes

http://www.eurotubes.com/euro-e.htm

the JJs handle the higher plate voltages of the 6L6 amps, the other 6v6s will not, really amazing sweet clean tones.

Boogie 5:25 Express has EL84s and channel switching ($900 used)

Fender Super Champ XD has 6V6s and built in voicing and effects ($300)

I own and love both.

How is the vox Ac-15 cc?

Are there any reliability issues with them?

I just picked up a used AC15 for 400. Years ago there was talk of poor quality control but made in ch!na, it can happen. I have had no problems at all. Bright cap mod free and 10 minutes. Reverb tank replacement 25 bucks and 10 minutes. That leaves you with a few hundred to play with before you reach 800....just a thought.
