Oh, that's an easy one: get a Foxrox Octron...usually $150-175 used.

General guitar gadets sells a TOCT kit for $50 or so, but it's an octave fuzz, may not be what you're looking for...

I built one with relative ease with the pre-gain, and it was able to clean up very well for a nice, subtle organic octave up...

i'm really looking for a regular octave pedal, but an octave fuzz pedal is interesting too.

If you're looking for a Green Ringer type octave pedal, I'd recommend General Guitar Gadget's GRO. I put one together last night and it's an excellent octave up effect that remains articulate all over the neck. The kits are $45 and so very worth it.

Octron has both lower octave and upper (octavia fuzz type) octave.

You can mix in as much or as little (or none) of each as well as the clean signal. Internal trimmers to further tailor to your tone... Amazing pedal for the money.

The Hartman 8va is under the radar. It's a silicon fuzz with footswitchable octave.
