Rotovibe vs Univibe -What is the Difference?

What is the difference between a UV-1 Dunlop Univibe with the expression pedal and a Dunlop JD-4S Rotovibe?

The Dunlop actually uses photocells and has more throb, modeled after the original univibe. The Rotovibe is more of like a very swirly, univibe flavored phaser.

If you want Jimi tone, then go with the Univibe.

I've had the Uni-vibe but never tried the Roto-vibe. Like Loosegroove said, the Uni-vibe is Dunlop's answer to the Hendrix/Trower throbbing univibe sound. It's a pretty decent univibe-if you happen to be a Fulltone Dealer I'd go that direction-the new Mini Deja 2 is built into a pedal enclosure like the Roto for about the same price as the Dunlop's Univibe plus the foot controller.

Univibe all the way!

Either a Kevin Randall Mega vibe or Sweet sound Mojo Vibe

these are leagues ahead of all other univibes!
