New Classic Vibe Strat' colors!
Anyone else seen these? Went to the local store that I prefer around here and they had Squier Classic Vibe Strats in a light blue, red, and olympic white colors. They are VERY cool looking. I hadn't gotten to play one of these until today...
...I left with a CV Tele on layaway. Once I sell a couple little things then I'll pick up the blue Strat'. OUTSTANDING guitars right out of the box. If Fender would put some larger gauge strings on there I wouldn't even get it setup before bringing it home. Went in knowing I wanted a new axe, had NO idea it would be a Squier. Chose it over a white USA Strat', a MIM Roadhouse Strat', and numerous other Fender's. The only two guitars I own are a USA Strat' (which was actually given to me!) and my acoustic. After owning way too many in the past few years, these CV's have convinced me even more that price and brand don't mean everything. How cliche, right? Oh well, even with the price raise they are worth every penny assuming it will hold up over time! Long live inexpensive guitars that look, sound, and feel great! |

Congrats!
I picked up a CV Tele last weekend. I am totally blown away by how great an axe it is. I also have an american strat, and didn't think i would dig this axe hear as much as I do. i threw some 10s on it and it plays incredibly well, sounds great, and looks very cool. for the $$, it was a no-brainer. i was convinced that the hype surrounding these couldn't be justified. sometimes it's fun getting proved wrong! |

I saw them over the weekend in what appeared to be a metallic red and a plain white. I wasn't really blown away, but they were pretty cool. The Duo-Sonic was neat!
