Help me personalize a Midnight Blue Strat
I was never a fan of this color, bought it thinking it would be more blue than purple. I could refinish it but I am trying to make it cool without refinishing it. So looking at pickguard, knobs and pickup cover options.
I saw a Sonic Blue Strat on this site with a black pickguard and multicolor knobs and pickup covers and it gave me this idea: ![]() and ![]() Also thought about pearloid pickguard, tortoise shell, ionized gold, polished silver. Or I thought if I could get a pickguard like a Jazz Bass with a polished section just around the controls... Anyone got ideas? Also thinking of throwing a P-Rails into it too... Current:

Yeah... no thanks...
As for the blue strat posted, that does look good. But I think it is a different blue. My strat is this blueish-purple color that is terrible trying to match to anything. I took the tortoise shell pickguard off my G&L SB-2 and held it up and it looks kinda nice though. |
