Germ Fuzz -> Fulltone Fulldrive II Mosfet?

Anyone run something like a SunFace into a Fulltone Fulldrive Mosfet II? Do they play well together?

I run my Fuzzhead into my FDII (non mosfet). Works for me.

I like it the other way around: FD-II into a '69. The Fulldrive really kicks the fuzz up another notch.

Depends which pedal character you want to retain. When I had a fuzz, I enjoyed using the fuzz to boost the ODs, giving them way more sustain and maybe fatness, but retaining their smoother nature. Boosting a fuzz, in my experience, with an OD, just makes things way fuzzier. Its up to you. The FDII is a great pedal, and I'm sure you'd be happy with it regardless of where you put it in the chain.

Yes! I've discovered some amazing fuzz tones running a germ fuzz in to my fd2..in compcut, volume maxed, gain way down..tone to taste. Real smoothes it out while still retaining the fuzz character, and still cleaning up well. I swear by this setup.

Live, Gary Louris of The Jayhawks played his Si Fuzz Face into a FD2 (non Mosfet) for about a decade. Before then, I think he used a TS9 as the "filter" for the same Fuzz Face.

Same here. I don't use fuzz as much as the FD2, but they work great together. My Peppermint and Fuzz Factory sound great this way, as do a few others.
