that second set sorta ends on a downer for me....though I like Crazy Love as a song (not so fond of Groovin'...I'd go with Good Lovin')
I'm guessin' you guys are older like myself (49) but there seem to be a lot of listening songs in there as opposed to dance or party songs. |

Very musician-y. I like it. But that means nothing.
A little heavy on the Neil too. Not a crowd-pleasing set(s). Can you really vocally pull off Sail On Sailor? |

I'd drop some of the Neil and add some r&b, but otherwise looks like a couple of fine sets...especially Crazy Love, nice touch.

No disrespect intended but I just quit a band because the set list started looking like that. I'm an old guy too but if you're going to hook the audience ya gotta rock their world every now and then. Kind of a Drag? Oh Boy, that's right up there with Brown Eyed Squirrel.

Second set: I would close up beat: Move RnR Star/8 miles Hi to the end of the set, from where they are.'Lay lady Lay' should be 'Knockin on Heaven's door'.Otherwise it's a classic rock set. People love 'Brown Eyed Girl'. With respect to the younger 'gig pigs'(LOL),I would try to include some funkier and newer things, unless you're playing for a bunch of 50 year olds.

There's an awful lot of slow/mid-tempo songs in that list.

What's the gig? Club? Private party? Wedding reception? Retirement home?

I'd go see a band that was pulling these off nicely...

I love all those tunes - but Old Man & Sarah Smile back to back? Check your playbook on that one, I think it's too dangerous.
