I have an Explorer into an ac30cc2x, I think the only things I've found not to work well have been really saturated and compressed pedals.
At the moment I'm loving the ocd v4 at 18 volts, a rat clone set to moderate gain and a fulldrive 2 (fairly compressed but seems to work well nonetheless)

Crowther Hotcake works great as an OD with my AC15C1, also my Beano Boost is probably my fav dirt for that amp.
