Fuzz on "What is Life?" from "All Things Must Pass"
There is a great fuzz tone prominently displayed on "What is Life".
I am pretty sure it is not a Fuzz Face and the song predates the Muff. I am thinking it is a Maestro or a Vox Tonebender but I wonder if anyone knows for sure and which specific model? Last edited by dorfmeister; 05-08-2009 at 08:23 PM. |

I always figured it was just an overdriven Fender amp with a wah pedal.

No way. Definately sounds like a Ge fuzz. Fuzzface gets close enough for my Beatles jones.

It is a distinctive fuzz tone, and I don't think it's George's Strat either...
