Recommend me some strings

I'm looking for nice tight bright bass strings, nice warm round treble strings, for humbucker guitars

D'Addario's come close, but die too quickly, and the treble strings aren't quite warm enough.

I've used SOS, but even the Rock blend aren't bright enough on the bass strings.

Thoughts?

I was a little hesitant about using these when I was first suggested them. But once I put them into my strat I realized why they were suggested to me in the first place. Very bright and tight sound with a much longer lifespan than D'addarios and DRs. I thought d'addarios sucked in lifespan and these strings trump them in that respect.

Fender Super 250's - not kidding, these are the best I've tried and I've tried a lot. Saw in Premier Guitar that Greg Koch is using Fender strings. Now thats a lot better recommendation than me. The guy's tone is perfect.

i haven't found daddarios to die quickly. IMO, there just isn't that much difference between the brands.

Literally every set of Fender strings I've ever bought in the past 30+ years, no matter where I got them, had rusty plain strings. Every set.

I've just recetly switched to DR Pure Blues and I really like them. Very punchy and warm and they sound great on both my strat and SG. They are lasting much longer than the slinky's I used to use.

For bass, DR's are all you need to know about.

For guitar, Ernie Ball's are all you need to know about.

IMO and IME...
