Blue Snowball?

I was just wondering how the Blue Snowball USB mic really sounds for just general usage in my bedroom or whatever (mic'ing an acoustic guitar or uke, vocals, and maybe an amp). Any good experiences with this? Is it with the 100$ or should I go with something else?
