Pearl Jam's amps on Conan

Anyone catch all of Pearl Jam's guitar amps on Conan last night were? I couldn't quite see the Bluesbreaker combo-looking amp that was next to the tweed Bassman -- wat was that? Lots of Vox on the other side of the stage!

I remember seeing Savage, Marshall, and Vox. They used to use Trentino amps, but I dont recall seeing them last night.
Mike has been using that LP Jr. quite a bit it seems.
They sounded great, cool new song too.

Savage Blitz 50. He's been playing it for few years at least now.

Yeah, they did sound really good. I love those LP Jrs. Was that a tweed Bassman next to the Savage?

Didn't Stone Gossard use a Peavey Classic 50 4x10 for awhile? It might've been that...

I saw an AC30 heritage behind the rhythm guitarist.

The lead player's solo tone was dreadful though.... sounded like a bar band playing "kryptonite" by 3 doors down.

I thought they sucked.

The show overall was great though, their segment the low point IMHO.

I saw that too last night. There were so many different amps I was wondering, which one is up there for an endorsement...unplugged. Also that one looked more like a Classic 50 than a bassman to me.

I've always thought there was something wrong with me for not liking Pearl Jam. (I also dislike Nirvana ---- so slay me, it's not them or what they did for music, I just can't dig the tunes)

All my friends (including those I play with) swear PJ is one of the greatest bands of all time. I've listened to albums, seen live video, watched back stage and recording videos and I just don't like them. His voice drives me nuts and their songs don't do it for me.

So am I alone on this one? I just watched the Conan performance, and behold -- I still don't like them.

I know I am entitled to my own opinions, as my ears are different than some, but I just think it's crazy that I can't stand a band all my musical peers lust after.

Anyone else in this boat?

their guitars (though not on this video) usually have masterful tone (Savage......hmmmmm)

I've always loved Pearl Jam but my wife HATES them. I compromise like this: I only listen to them when she's at work UNLESS I am practicing some of their songs I play then she can just deal with it
