upgrading speaker cable for my modded DRRI?

should I put ~30$ on my speaker cable? (Kimber 4VS)

just thought that after modding the speaker and transformers I should pay some attention to the speaker cable. after all, it's another part in the signal path...

your opinion?

I use use those brown, black, or white cables that are attached to old lamps. For me they make excellent cables. I often see people tossing the old lamps, and if I have a cutting tool nearby, I will cut the cable for future use. The cable is typically 18 gauge so for me it works perfect. Solder a mono plug on one end and the female tabs on the other end for the speaker and I am set.

I'd go with whatever Mark recommends, I have used and like the EA, but have no experience with the Kimber (I think he started carrying the Kimber after I got the EA).
