The Pine Wonder Has Arrived

I picked up my Squier Classic Vibe Tele earlier today, got the extra 10% off due to tomorrow being some kind of special Fender discount day, and paid $305 plus tax. I have been playing it since I got home and am so stoked with the feel, the sound, and the fact that IT STAYS PERFECTLY IN TUNE! No matter how much I slam it.

I can't believe the Chinese actually got these right. Maybe I just got a great one and the rest or so-so or hit & miss? I know I liked the sunburst Strat I played in the same series. The salesguy at the music store told me that the Fender rep was in a few weeks ago, and even he commented that this Tele was a "really good one."

Please don't ask me to post pics. I don't know how, and can't be bothered learning.

No problem, no derail. I kind of wanted someone to reinforce the fact that the Classic Vibe guitars werer as good as they seem to be. I liked that Strat too. It actually felt like an old one. Now, if I get one, I need to have it relic'd, as I may do with this Tele. They look too pretty and shiny.

I dont even like the sounds of Teles and I LOVED the classic vibe Tele when I played it. Definitely got the GAS for that now (especially since I am hearing all this love for it again!)

Ack. Off to the guitar store today I suppose...
