H.s.a.s.

Hagar's new "super group" reminded me of his other super group from the 80s, H.S.A.S.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hagar_Schon_Aaronson_Shrieve

I looked them up on You Tube, man that was some good stuff!!!!! Like Journey with BALLS!!!! "Top of the Rock" and "Missing You" are great, seriously rocking tunes, too bad they didn't take it any further. It's nice to hear Neal just let it rip in a four piece.

Cheers,

CJ

I didn't enjoy the group, even though I dig all the members individually. Schon might have played some good stuff (great player), but was so buried in delay who could tell?

He could have used the same name for the new group. The initials are still HSAS.

I loved that HSAS album. Giza was deep.

HSAS was a very good group. my favorites were missing you, giza was epic-like, my hometown. very hard rock indeed. nice blend of hagar's voice and neal's guitar, kinda like the opposite of steve perry's sweet voice with neals raunchy guitar.
