Ardx20!!!

I'm loving my new ARDX20...Pitch bends with the expression pedal, running all kinds of effects into the effects loop.
But I'm keeping my Maxons (AD900&AD999), all three pedals have there own charm.:AOK
Now I'm wondering if I still need to get the Skreddy echo?
The ARDX20 has an effects loop and that was what was really drawing me to the Skreddy. If all it's offering me now is modulation, I'm thinking I don't need it.

Yeah, you need an Echo, and an Empress and a Retro-Sonic, etc. ... if you're anything like me.

jb-
I see you have a CC as well.
Is it on the board mainly for size reasons, or do you feel it is great?
Didn't you have the CMAT Deeeeeeeeeelay for awhile, too?

Yeah, I did have a Deeelay for a while. I guess I prefer analog delays. The CC is on my small board because the DMM is on my main board, although the CC sounds amazing to my ears. Nothing has knocked it off yet.

Please, indulge me in the nuances!
Skreddy 550ms/modulation/effectsloop/digital (not saying that digital can't be great)
ARDX20 600ms/effectsloop/expression pedal input for delaytime & feedback and 100% lush analog delay.
I love Skreddy's stuff but why would I need both of these?
I'm keeping the Maxon's because they are usable and unique in there own way-ad900 has the most headroom of any analog delay pedal I know of and the ad999 has 900ms and a very sweet/warm feedback unlike any other I've tried (and I've tried quite a few).
And not really a diss on Skreddy but, 4 months!? I know he's just one guy, but come on "supply and demand" fcs.
Analogman responds to my emails and has bent over backwards for "little od me".

good to hear more positive vibes about the ARDX20, mine should be here any day now. I currently use the Skreddy Echo as my main delay so I'll try and shed some light on the differences, pro's and con's etc when the Analogman delay arrives.

Glad you are enjoying the new delays!

Jimmy wanted one so badly he sent a roadie to the Amp Show in NJ to pick it up for him

Jimmy, email me about the custom rack mount chorus, we can do most of that but I have a few questions (or I'll try to email you).

They are voiced differently. They SOUND different. Like gibson and fender, fender and marshall.
Not better. just different.
IT'S NOT ABOUT FEATURES, IT'S ABOUT SOUND. Both sound great. In different ways. That's part of the fun of being a delay whore (see other thread).

You are absolutely right!
As I've said in other threads (and emails to Marc) I WANT A SKREDDY ECHO and always have! I'm just very impatient
I just don't understand why? If the ECHO is digital why can't it have like 3000 milliseconds of delay available?
That would be a defining feature IMO.

Btw I've been running my Skreddy screwdriver into the effects loop of the ARDX20 (much like in the demo on Skreddys page) and it sounds killer!
